Front Desk Clerk

Mountain View Health Services is seeking a part-time Front Desk Clerk to support our administrative and clinical teams by providing excellent customer service and front-line operational support in a community health setting.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and contributing to a mission-driven organization.


What You’ll Do

  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and callers

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls

  • Schedule and confirm appointments

  • Maintain patient charts and electronic records

  • Scan and enter provider orders and patient information

  • Support billing documentation processes

  • Coordinate with clinical staff and partner clinics

  • Perform clerical duties including copying, faxing, scanning, and mail distribution

  • Order and restock office and medical supplies

  • Assist with basic patient support tasks as needed


What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED

  • At least one year of medical office or administrative experience (or equivalent education/training)

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Comfort working with computers, Microsoft Office, and electronic health records

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy front-desk environment

  • Respect for patient privacy and confidentiality


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods

  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally

Medical Assistant

Mountain View Health Services is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support our clinical team in delivering compassionate, culturally responsive care to our community.

This role is ideal for a certified Medical Assistant seeking meaningful, patient-centered work in a community health setting with a schedule aligned with part-time clinic operations.


What You’ll Do

  • Support providers during patient visits by taking vital signs, rooming patients, and preparing exam spaces

  • Assist with basic clinical procedures and specimen collection (as trained and authorized)

  • Support medication administration within the scope and training

  • Enter and support documentation in the electronic health record

  • Help coordinate patient flow during assigned shifts

  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized clinical areas

  • Stock supplies and report equipment or safety issues

  • Contribute to emergency preparedness activities as scheduled

  • Support quality improvement efforts and team collaboration


What We’re Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program

  • Current BLS certification

  • Certified Medical Assistant credential (NCCT, AAMA, NHA, or AMCA)

  • Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-based clinic environment

  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
